According to a St. Helens communications manager, about 40,000 to 50,000 people visited in 2017.

“It was nice to come back and honor Debbie. It’s such an honor that people want to come see where the movie was filmed,” Brown said. “Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this is what we would do.”

12. Although there are no official plans to continue the franchise, Singer has said she “would love” to make a fifth film, if interest is there.

“It would take Disney Channel to get on board, but I would love to,” she said. “I have ideas on how to do this. We talked about it a year and a half ago, but it didn’t happen.”

13. If the project were to come to fruition, Singer envisioned “a musical,” adding, “There are also ways to do a prequel. It’s not something I’ve ever talked about before.”
