Los Angeles (AP) – A Los Angeles judge granted a prohibition order to the actor and singer of “The Little Mermaid” Halle BaileyWho says that her ex-friendly friend, rapper and YouTuber DDG, was violent several times with her and she fears for her and the baby they have together.
The judge ordered DDG on Tuesday, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., to stay away from Bailey and their 17 -month -old son, Halo, to a hearing of June 6.
“Throughout our relationship,” said Bailey in documents asking for the order: “Daryl was and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally and financially abusive to me. I am looking for orders to protect myself and our halo son of his in progress.”
A message asking for comments to a Granerle representative was not immediately answered.
Bailey, 25, and Granberry, 27, were in a couple from 2022 to last year, and since their breakup, there have been “multiple acts of physical violence,” said Bailey.
In a January incident that she said in detail, Bailey said Granberry called her a “slut” on several occasions as she was trying to tie the baby in a seat inside her car.
“The next thing I knew, things have become physical between us,” said Bailey in the documents. “We fought, fighting and fighting.
Bailey included photos of his tooth and bruises on his arms in his ranking.
In March, she said that Granberry had entered her house when she was not at home and sent her a photo of her bed with a threatening message suggesting that she had sex with other men.
A few days later, she said, he reprimanded her when she did not want to send their sick baby visiting him and broke the camera of his porch when he realized that he recorded the confrontation. She said that when she called a parent to get help, he took her phone and went into his car, slamming the door on her while she was holding the baby. Bailey submitted a police report on the incident.
She also asked that the Granerberge be ordered to stop using her streaming platforms on Twitch and Youtube to return her disciples against her.
“Whenever he wants to provoke upheavals, he begins to hurt his several million fans,” she said in the documents. “He claims that I retain our son and that I am with other men. Consequently, I then receive threats and I hate on social networks. ”
Granulberge has also been ordered to have no weapons. The judge may extend the order up to five years at the hearing on June 6.
DDG, from Pontiac, Michigan, first saw success as a video streamer and then as a hip-hop artist. On May 5, he released his fourth studio album, “Blame The Cat”, on Epic Records.
Bailey, from Atlanta, was nominated for five Grammy Awards as a solo artist and as part of Chloé X Halle, the duo with his sister who first brought his fame.
She played in the sitcom “Grown-ish” from 2018 to 2022, and in 2023 played the title of title in the live remake of Disney live from “The little mermaid.”
