Singer and actress Halle Bailey obtained a ban on her ex-girlfriend, rapper DDG, reports the Associated Press. The rapper will have to stay far from Bailey and his 17 -month -old child to an audience on Friday June 6, according to the report.
Bailey and DDG, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., would have started to go out together in early 2022. Bailey gave birth to the couple’s son, Halo, in December 2023. The couple separated from the following year.
In documents requesting the restriction order, Bailey would have said: “Throughout our relationship, Daryl was and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally and financially abusive to me. I am looking for orders to protect myself and our son Halo against his ongoing abuses. ” She also declared that there were “multiple acts of physical violence” since their breakup, according to the AP.
Elsewhere, Bailey said that DDG had used his eminent platforms on Twitch and Youtube to encourage harassment. “Whenever he wants to provoke upheavals, he begins to hurt his several million fans,” she said in documents. “He claims that I retain our son and that I am with other men. Consequently, I then receive threats and I hate on social networks. ”
