Halie Welch stepped in to save the hat company that sold its “Hawk Tuah” merchandise… by coughing up cash to keep the business afloat.

Jason Poteetefounder of Fathead Threads, in Lewisburg, TN, told TMZ … Haliey recently loaned his business $10,000 in a time of desperate need, helping save the company.

While the brand “Hawk Tuah” Hats Sales have been flying since Haliey went viral last month for her NSFW street interview, with Jason saying the majority of the $190,000 in sales has been held in a PayPal account.

Jason says he was unable to access the funds – claiming PayPal was convinced he was running a fraudulent business due to the massive number of sales in such a short period of time – and did not have the money to fulfil the outstanding orders.

Haliey’s business partner says he had about 2,500 orders to fulfill and only had access to $2,000 in his PayPal account…and needed more money to pay for manufacturing, shipping and other costs associated with fulfilling the orders.

At first, Jason says he started asking family members for money, then he went to the bank to get a loan so he could fulfill the orders… and the stress of it all made him physically ill and anxious.

Enter Haliey.

Jason says he informed Haliey of the situation last Friday…she gets a cut of Hawk Tuah merch sales and he tells us he didn’t want her to think he was holding her back financially.

Once Haliey listened to Jason, he says she offered to lend him the $10,000 he needed to get the business up and running… an amazing gesture that Jason says left him overwhelmed with joy.

Uncut Bri Plan

Since Haliey’s loan, Jason says things have gotten a lot better at Fathead Threads… he says PayPal eventually gave him $90,000 in revenue. He says he still has a lot more money tied up in his account, but he tells us there’s no doubt Haliey helped save the company.

We have contacted PayPal…so far no response.
