Since revealing her best-kept secret to the public, Hailey has shared several moments from the early months of her pregnancy with her social media followers.

And now she’s asking her fans not to judge.

On May 15, Hailey took to her Instagram Story to share one of her pregnancy cravings. “Currently, my biggest desire,” she admitted.

“Egg salad on a pickle with hot sauce,” Hailey explained before telling her followers, “and no, you don’t get to judge!”

Although the exact reason why some pregnant women experience food cravings is still unknown, there are some theories.

According to Northwestern Medicine, the cause of pregnancy cravings “is not entirely clear; some theories suggest that pregnancy hormones may increase the sense of smell and taste, creating both cravings and aversions.”

As the source continues, “Other theories suggest it’s the body’s way of compensating for deficiencies – craving ice cream when you need calcium, fruit for vitamin D, etc.”

After skipping the Met Gala on May 6, Hailey, who is usually a fixture at the event, remained quiet about her absence. That’s until three days later.
