‘Hacks’ Star Hannah Einbinder Shares Her Style Inspiration

While her character Ava’s style fuels her co-star Jean Smart’s punchlines on the show, in real life Einbinder favors “Los Angeles chill chic” vibes that combine masculine and feminine elements, naming Diane Keaton and Paula Poundstone as the fashion icons who inspire him. . But for Monday night’s Ralph Lauren Fall/Holiday 2024 show, the actress stepped out of her sartorial comfort zone, choosing a look that was bold, stunning, and would leave Deborah Vance speechless.

What do you like about attending a fashion show?

Attending a fashion show is always like witnessing a moving art installation. This goes beyond clothing; I admire the designer’s creative vision and how the music, decor and aesthetic vision come together.

How and why did you choose your look today?

My look today is definitely unlike anything I’ve ever worn and gotten me excited about! The silhouette is so beautiful that I was immediately attracted to it.

You are a constantly busy person! How do you like to relax?

My ideal relaxation is a shower, a face mask, a cup of tea and some meditation music in bed. Pretty standard but my God, it fits!

What song should be in your getting ready playlist?

“Mariella” by Léon Bridges 🙂

Tell me about your glamour: what was your inspiration?

The glam inspiration was, as always, super minimalist and chic. I think a little goes a long way for redheads 🙂

Which celebrity are you looking forward to meeting tonight?

Well, Ralph Lauren himself of course!

What did you like most about the series?

I loved the costume. Nothing like a woman in a suit.

What do you do after the show?

After the show, we will go to the Polo Bar of course!

Describe your sense of style.

My sense of style in my personal life is rather oversized, halfway between male and female, casual cool, Los Angeles chill chic if you will!

Who are some of your style icons and why?

My style icons are people like Paula Poundstone, Diane Keaton, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I love men’s clothing for girls!
