Hackers claim to have hacked Nintendo’s internal data

Hackers claim to have “raped” Nintendo and stolen internal data from the Japanese megacorp.

While this claim has yet to be substantiated, a screenshot posted by the group shows a repository of folders containing Nintendo manuals, admins, development resources, and more. This follows an equally high-profile hack last month, when the same hackers breached Red Hat’s GitHub repositories.

Nintendo has yet to publicly comment on this allegation and it is currently unknown whether customer data was compromised.

Last week, Discord wrote to users to inform them that a third-party customer service system used by Discord’s support teams had been hacked, compromising some users’ personal data, including government credentials.
