Gypsy Rose Blanchard is expecting a baby.
The reality star shared via Instagram on Tuesday that she is pregnant with her and ex-fiancé Ken Urker’s first baby following their reconciliation.
“We are proud to announce that we are expecting our first child in January 2025,” Blanchard, 32, captioned her post.
The future star showed off her baby bump in a social media post while Urker, 31, cradled her bump in several maternity shoots.
The couple posed with ultrasound images and a little sweater.
Blanchard shared more details about her pregnancy in a YouTube video, confirming “rumors that have been circulating for some time now.”
Before describing the sleepiness and cravings she felt at 11 weeks, the “Life After Lockup” star admitted that her “unexpected” pregnancy was “totally unplanned.”
However, she said she and her partner were “thrilled” to become parents.
Blanchard praised Urker for her “great kindness” and “great forbearance” as she deals with “insane mood swings.”
The couple’s milestone comes three months after they made headlines for reconciling their relationship amid her divorce from Ryan Anderson.
The former spouses separated in March following Blanchard’s release from prison.
She was serving a sentence for second-degree murder in the 2015 death of her abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
Gypsy Rose and Urker, who were engaged from 2018 to 2019 while she was behind bars, were spotted holding hands and kissing the following month.
Urker then moved to Louisiana to be “closer” to his significant other.
Gypsy Rose has responded to claims she is “not ready to be a mother”, saying she has felt a “change within herself” since her positive pregnancy test.
“When I found out I was pregnant, nothing else mattered,” she said of the online “drama.”
Gypsy Rose, played by Joey King in 2019’s “The Act,” broke down in tears as she told her followers, “Everything I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby.”
“Everything that’s happened to me in life suddenly doesn’t matter anymore, because it’s all led me to who I am today, and it’s all led me to this moment, right here, right now,” she continued. “And that’s a blessing.”
