Gypsy Rose Blanchard was struck by Cupid’s bow when admitting that her partner, Ken Urkeris “that one” during an interview with E! News published on Thursday May 30. “When did I know it was him?” Probably the day I met him in 2017,” the 32-year-old shared.

The sparks came shortly after her separation from her ex-husband, Ryan Anderson. Gypsy and the former special education teacher married in July 2022 after meeting during his sentence for the murder of his mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Once released from prison in December 2023, the two were able to live together before facing numerous setbacks in their relationship and ending it in April.

“It wasn’t until I filed for divorce that I really realized that this spark, this connection (with Ken) was even better than I expected…And we grew a lot,” she said. she declared. “I have matured. Ken and Gypsy became romantically linked through a prison pen pal program which led to their engagement in October 2018. Although the reason for their initial split has yet to be revealed in his upcoming Lifetime docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life after confinement, the two ended their engagement in the summer of 2019.

Following Gypsy’s split from Ryan last month, she was rumored to be rekindling her romance with Ken after they were spotted going shopping and getting tattoos together. The two then became official by sharing a kiss via social media during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

“After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable and that life is too short to not take risks… We have a story that “is the perfect foundation for a fresh start,” she told TMZ. at the time.
