Gutfeld: Florida’s ‘luck’ to dodge LA ‘creeps’ who want to teach young kids about sex

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Let’s pay tribute to the brave Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Have they finally solved their endemic problem of homelessness and drug addiction? Of course not.

Did they clean up Skid Row? Big luck.

Have they reversed the rise in murder and gang violence? Not on your life.

Are they at least protecting celebrities from award shows – slaps? No.

They did something more amazing: they banned official travel to Florida because of the state’s Parental Rights Bill, or what idiots call the “Don’t Say Gay” law.

You know, the law that prohibits in-depth teaching of sex and gender to children in grades three and under. It’s the law that, if you’re against it, could explain why you’re hiding a bag of lollipops under your trench coat.

So what was Florida’s response to the announcement that LA County staffers won’t be coming?

Yeah, talk about inconsolable. The LA Board of Directors claims the law harms trans kids, but they have less evidence than we have that Brian Stelter has abs.

But I say, “Hooray.” I’m so glad there are people out there who want to teach toddlers about sex because you don’t want a 4-year-old boy making a — of himself when he does his move on Britney in the sandbox.

Normally people would find it inappropriate for their age, but no, says the Los Angeles board. Let’s see these kids why they always have this weak spot on their head.

Eight years, 4 years, 1 year, what’s the difference? Maybe a few baby teeth. That’s the problem with toddlers, they can barely talk about radical feminism, let alone gender identity.

So why not show them footage of war crimes while we’re at it? Prepare them. Now, we wish this Florida law didn’t have to exist, but it does.

It’s like the warning on a dry cleaning bag that tells you not to put it on your head. It means someone has already done it.

It is also the death of age inadequacy. No responsible adult allows a child to drive a car, vote or get a tattoo. So why force children to talk about sex, gender, when they should be thinking about naps and playtime?

Of course, the travel ban is a sign of unnecessary virtue, and really, it punishes LA County workers because where would they rather be in the summer? Here in Los Angeles, home of the infamous Skid Row, or here in Florida, home of miles of beautiful beaches?

Or would you rather be here, a place where crime and violence flourish? Or be here, a place defined by fun in the sun?

And who would you rather hang out with: those empty-headed celebrities, or this? I mean, how’s that not gay? You can’t spell manatee without a man.

The thing is, Los Angeles County is way more anti-gay because it’s anti-people in general. And Florida is more pro-gay than LA because they’re pro-freedom and pro-fun.

Rather than protecting gays or straight people from hate crimes or any other crime, they demand justice against the state, Florida, that minds its own business.

And as Richard Grenell, the first openly gay cabinet member in US history, points out, there are no travel bans in the 69 countries that criminalize homosexuality.

So, of course, buy a timeshare in Tehran, but whatever you do, stay away from Key West.

But these Los Angeles County morons say this Florida bill is designed to stifle the safe exploration of ideas. You know, like they’re discussing Bezos’ next spaceflight or the future of electric cars.

No, it’s about sex, and no sane person wants an adult to initiate this b——- with your 5-year-old. At best, it’s rude, and at worst, it’s predatory.

The board also banned travel to Texas after that state classified certain transgender medical procedures for minors as child abuse. They claim that the ban prevents children from discovering who they are and feeling secure in their identity.

Again, this is the perversion of words disguised as illumination. No child should have unnecessary medical procedures unless it’s baby hair clogs with huge bald heads – scare me.

But these idiots think that the cure for temporary gender confusion may be surgery. But you do that and you can just get rid of gay and lesbian adults and replace them with surgically modified heterosexuality.

How is that not homophobic? Also, all children go through phases. For a year, I was convinced that I was Lassie. God, I was such a b—-.

But Florida must consider itself lucky those Los Angeles loons aren’t coming. Imagine what they look like – miserable morons who look horrible in sportswear, delivering messages intended to show they care when in reality they expose themselves as destructive monsters.

Yes, they expose themselves. Not surprising.
