Guam’s doctors and health professionals have reported an increase in flu or flu and cases in the past two weeks.

From May 18 to May 31, GMH recorded 28 cases of pneumonia, 78 cases of acute respiratory disease and 36 cases of flu -like disease.

“Yes. And the regional medical city of Guam and the GMH emergency room were full last weekend,” he said.
Akimoto observed the first -hand increase in his practice.
“Usually four to six per day, or about 20% of patients seen in my office are sick of respiratory infections like Cavid,” he said.
Dr. Hoa Nguyen of the American Medical Center has also confirmed the increase in influenza cases while noting less infections styled recently.
“There are few ones, but we see influenza absorption in the past two weeks,” he said. “No adoption on the complications of the influenza to the admission that we know.”
Nguyen urged the public to take precautions.
“Basic hands and hygiene are the best preventive measures,” he said.
Pacific Daily News has not yet received comments from the Guam regional medical city.
