San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was transported to hospital on Tuesday evening after a medical emergency in a city steakhouse.
Trusting images emerged via TMZ from the 76 -year -old man, who was taken sick earlier this year, on a stretcher placed in an ambulance after having passed out.
Popovich had a stroke in early November and was on indefinite leave from his team – he confirmed in February that he would not train them for the rest of the season.
But his long -term future has now been questioned after his recent fear of health.
TMZ says Popovich is still recovering from the 9 -time stroke, but he would have been alert and spoke when he was placed in the ambulance on Tuesday evening. He had been apparently at the restaurant for about two hours.
The Spurs, who missed the NBA qualifiers which begin on Saturday, have not yet commented on the incident.

Popovich, who has more victories than any other NBA history coach, led the United States team to Olympic gold at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
He is a five-time NBA champion with the Spurs, where he has been a head coach since 1996.
In his absecne Spurs this year, Popovich was replaced by his assistant, Mitch Johnson.
