Greg Gutfeld: Durham investigation is no longer about Trump, so the media doesn’t care

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

So I think something really big happened this weekend, and no I’m not talking about finally getting my wart removed, which by the way got more viewers than Don Lemon Tonight.

It wasn’t the Super Bowl, which proved once and for all that masks are only for peons.

No, it’s something the media prefers not to cover, unlike their own puffy butts.

And this is their favorite subject, the Russians.

Except it’s not their favorite anymore. Without their preferred script, they buried him like a wanderer in the woods.

You remember ? Because it’s not about Trump anymore, it’s about Hillary and not Duff or Swank or the sexiest of them all, Sir Edmund. Take it away, John Scott.

JOHN SCOTT: A shocking revelation in the Durham inquiry into the Trump Russia probe, new documents allege Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid a tech company to infiltrate servers at Trump Tower, and later at the inside the White House to try to create a narrative of Russian collusion.

JOURNALIST: Tech Executive One and its associates exploited this arrangement by mining the President’s Executive Office DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump.

Here. They didn’t just do it before the election, but even after he became president, it’s tied to a criminal case against Hillary’s attorney, Michael Sussman, who fed the FBI and CIA with Alfa Bank’s fake story. You remember ?

He is also accused of lying when he told the FBI that he was not representing any clients. This guy makes Avenatti look like Thurgood Marshall.

So it turns out that Hillary knows how a server works, except for the one who kept her emails in a bathroom closet.

But you won’t hear much about it today because the legacy media will shun it like a big, ugly baby.

Concrete example. We went to take a look at what was on CNN’s homepage, and their big story said Joe Rogan’s use of the N-word was another January 6th. I wonder if anyone at CNN pulled a hamstring doing this stretch.

But that’s CNN’s definition of news. When one hysterical prank collapses, they create another as if they are rotten chefs constantly trying a soufflé and failing.

But there’s a reason the press can’t cover this story. If they cover it, they end up having to cover their own concealment. It’s a lot of work.

It’s the same reason we can’t get to the bottom of any of their claims, because at the bottom is their own idiotic complicity.

Do you remember that classic 60 minute moment?

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: The biggest scandal was when they spied on my campaign. They spied on my campaign.

LESLEY STAHL: There’s no real evidence of that.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Of course there are.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: It’s everywhere. Lesley,

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: They spied on my campaign and they got caught.

LESLEY STAHL: Can I say something? You know, it’s “60 minutes” and we can’t put things in that we can’t check.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: You won’t put it on because it’s bad for Biden.

And so rather than cover the big story of January 6, Watergate and men’s crop tops combined, they go back to the Rogan buffet and stock up on the same old hysterics. They just replaced Trump with Joe.

The good news: even the Democrats see the light.

According to a poll, a slew of Democrats want to see Hillary investigate, if only to prevent him from running for president every four years until 2084.

About three in four respondents said they thought it was important for prosecutors to investigate Clinton for her role in Russiagate. That includes 66% of Democrats.

So you think the media that caters to Democrats as if they were kings would buy into this story, because so many Democrats want to know more.

But they can’t because it calls into question the last six years of their fake bulls—.

He exposes their corruption.

It turns out that for Trump, the Russian collusion story was just a deviation from the Russian collusion story with Hillary.

It’s a terrific strategy, really. When you are afraid of being accused of being unfaithful, accuse your partner first.

When someone is on the defensive. It’s just harder for them to prosecute you for real crimes.

It’s true for Russian history, everyone’s history is racist, all cops are bastards and COVID’s history. Remember when it was racist to be for the travel ban?

Each example deviates from something similar and horrible the left is doing.

This is the Russian case. In the Russian case, they have been raging for years, creating accusations of conflict in anger. Think of this conflict at the emotional cost, not to mention Trump supporters being targeted just because their guy won.

Of course, there must be a trial, but no doubt it will be ignored by the same cretins – yes, I use that word – who drooled every time Robert Mueller broke the wind?

And who can forget this guy? Do you think he’ll say it’s worse than Watergate?

CARL BERNSTEIN: What we see under the Trump presidency is worse than Watergate. … People keep asking me: Are there echoes of Watergate in there? And there is. … We’re also seeing something we didn’t see at Watergate, which is a meltdown by a patently unbalanced president. … What we see is worse than Watergate.

What journalisthit wonder. It had a chart topper in the 70s. It was called Watergate, and all it did was play it at weddings and funerals. It’s the Milli Vanilli of reviewers, except they actually had better material. Of course, his story is hardly worth a sigh because so many journalists have made money, gotten promotions, landed comfortable jobs because of Russiagate.

It was CNN’s bread and butter for years. If you don’t believe me, look at the size of Stelter.

So now we’ve learned that it’s a lot worse than just spying. Some might say this is a plot to destroy a presidency, a real threat to democracy.

But while some don’t work on the networks causing this mess, or they might say it’s indeed worse than Jan 6th because that helped justify it.
