During his confessions, Grunberg also shared that he had Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid gland. Lightening hair is a common side effect, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and digestive and renal diseases.

He thinks that, combined with his painting against pain after surgery, could have accelerated his hair loss.

But Grunberg does not let his baldness drop him.
