“First of all, I want to thank everyone who likes to ask if I’m fine, you know:” What’s going on? ” I saw photos of you, you don’t have hair, what’s going on? Well, that’s what’s going on, “said 58 -year -old actor in a video published in his YouTube channel” Talk about It Wednesday.

“Me, all of a sudden, I had alopecia and I knew nothing about it. I always learn about it,” he said.

Alopecia is a disease that causes hair loss. Although there is no remedy, drugs and treatments can help push hair.

Jada Pinkett Smith, 53, announced that she had suffered from alopecia in 2022 after her husband, Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards.

Grunberg, who played Sean Blumberg opposite Keri Russell, Scott Speedman and Scott Foley in “Felicity” from 1998 to 2002, revealed that he had discovered his diagnosis after a knee replacement surgery in October.

He thinks that the operation may have triggered his alopecia.

“I think it shocked alopecia, you know, presenting themselves,” said the actor. “I think I have probably sleeping it in my body for a long time.”

During his confessions, Grunberg also shared that he had Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid gland. Lightening hair is a common side effect, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and digestive and renal diseases.

He thinks that, combined with his painting against pain after surgery, could have accelerated his hair loss.

But Grunberg does not let his baldness drop him.

Grunberg said he was doing everything to make sure he was healthy.

“All my tests come back negative, my numbers are broken, I eat well, I do the exercise, I do all the right things,” said the actor.

“No need to worry, everything is good … So thank you, I love you all. Thank you very much for all your concerns and your questions. It’s alopecia and many people have it and many people – most people – live well with it, so that’s what I do, taking ahead.”

Grunberg made his actor debut in the 1990 Stolen TV movie: “A husband”. He played in several occasional appearances in a successful series like “Melrose Place”, “Baywatch” and “Murphy Brown” until his big break with “Felicity” in 1998. The series lasted four seasons.

He then won a game alongside Jennifer Garner in “alias” before obtaining the role of Matt Parkman in “Heroes”. Grunberg also played in “The Client List”, with small pieces in massive superproductions such as “Mission: Impossible III” (2006), “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015) and” A Star is Born “(2018).
