ASHWAUBENON, Wisconsin – Green Bay Police have confirmed that a suspect is in custody after reports of an active shooter situation on Saturday night in the area of ​​Oneida Casino and the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.

Several law enforcement agencies responded around 7:30 p.m.

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul tweeted that the situation was under control and there was “no longer a threat to the community.”

Kaul wrote that the State Department of Justice and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office would be the only sources of information about the shootings. “All others have not been confirmed,” his tweet said.

Bobbi Webster, director of public relations for Oneida Nation, said she understood someone had been shot, but she wasn’t sure how many and couldn’t immediately provide more details.
