Google I / O 2025 takes place on May 20 and 21 with the Grand Keynote de Google on day 1. We expect Big G to talk about its innovations in its constant expansion product portfolio – almost certainly with enormous accent on AI at each stage of the process. If we collectively cross our fingers, promise to be good and eat all our vegetables, we can even have an overview of the upcoming equipment.

Google also organized a completely separate event which focused only on Android. THE Android Show: E / S edition I saw the packaging out of Android 16, with information on the new expressive interface of equipment 3, safety updates and a concentration on Gemini and how it will work on a variety of other devices.
By bursting Android News in its own virtual event, Google is released to spend more time during the speech of E / S to talk about Gemini, Deep Mind, Android XR and Project Astra. It will be a full -to -crack event, so here is how you can look at E / S 2025 as you go and what you can look forward to.
The Android show focused only on Android 16 updates.
Google E / S: where to watch
Appropriate Google I / S starts with a keynote which takes place on May 20 at 10 a.m. (1 p.m. PM, 18 h BST). It will be almost certainly available to broadcast online on Google’s own YouTube channel, although a maintenance video is still available. There is not yet a live link on the I / O website, although you can use practical links to add the event to your choice calendar. Expect that links to a live flow are available closer to the day.
What to expect from Google I / O 2025
Little discussion on Android 16: As Google has already given Android 16 its own outing, it is likely that it will not be much mentioned during the E / S. In fact, during last year’s event, Android was barely mentioned, while uses of the term “AI” have exceeded a hundred.
The Samsung project, Moohan, can get an outing during the E / O and the Android show.
Android XR: Google did not talk much about Android XR during Android emission, rather focusing on the purely based updates on the platform phone. We expected to learn more about the last foray in the company in mixed reality headsets in partnership with Samsung and its Moohan helmet project, it is therefore possible that it is registered for the E / S itself.
Gemini: Android being turned in its own separate event, Google obviously opens the way to E / S to focus on everything that the company does. The AI will continue to dominate the conversation to the E / S, just like last year (although I hope that Google will be able to make it more understandable) with updates of many of its AI platforms which should be announced.
Gemini should receive a variety of update ads, including more information on its latest 2.5 Pro update which benefits from various improvements in its reasoning capacities, and in particular its usefulness for coding applications. Expect many mentions of other products based on Google AI, including Deepmind, Learnlm and Project Astra. Let’s just hope that Google understood how to make this information make sense.
Beyond the AI, Google can talk about updates to its other products, including Gmail, Chrome and the Play Store, although these updates are large enough to be discussed during the opening speech rather than in the context of the developing sessions after the opening of the E / O to see.
