Google I/O 2024: look at all the AI, Android reveals

Google I/O 2024 has started Today with a 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) opening speech. As always, the presentation provided an overview of the latest versions of the company’s software platforms, including Android, Wear OS and Android TV.

Also expect a lot of AI. Like, a lot, a lot.

Gemini, initially known as Bard, will take center stage alongside CEO Sundar Pichai, as the company seeks to establish dominance in a field facing fierce competition from the likes of Microsoft and OpenAI.

You can get a full overview of what was announced here. HAS 1:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), begins the developer keynote, which you can watch here. As the name suggests, this particular presentation will be much less focused on the consumer side. But if you want to take a look, good news: you just have to stay after the keynote.

There are two ways to access the archives. The first is done directly via the Google site. The second is of course YouTube. You can find this stream embedded below.
