The former New York mayor appeared last Thursday on the ‘War Room’ Podcast hosted by ex-Trump adviser Steve Bannon and recalled a round of golf he played with Wie West and late talk show host Rush Limbaugh at a charity event in 2014.

“On the green is Michelle Wie and she’s getting ready to putt,” Giuliani said on the podcast Thursday. “Now Michelle Wie is gorgeous. She’s six feet tall. And she’s in a weird fucking position. She’s bending over completely. And her panties are showing. And the press was going crazy.”

Giuliani went on to end his story by asking, “Is it okay to tell this joke, I’m not sure?” To which Bannon replied, “We’ve said that before, so I don’t know.”

Wie West called Giuliani’s story “highly inappropriate” and “disturbing”.

“What this person should have remembered that day was the fact that I shot 64 and beat all the male golfers on the course leading our team to victory. I shudder to think he was me. was smiling and complimenting me on my acting while objectifying me and referencing my ‘panties’ behind my back all day, ”said Wie West in a Twitter message.

“What should be discussed is the elite skill level that women play, not what we wear or look like.

“My putting stance six years ago was designed to improve my putting stats (I ended up winning the US Open that year), NOT as an invitation to look at my skirt!

“Nike makes skirts with SHORTS integrated underneath for this exact reason … so women can feel confident and COMFORTABLE while playing a game we love.”
