Last year, Gmail for Android and iOS presented a Summarize the functionalityAnd Gemini can now automatically surface summary cards.
At the launch, the capacity “summarizing this email” supplied by Gemini was a button under the object line that you had to press on manually. This would slide the Gemini leaf with the chips requested.
On mobile, Gmail will now display “Gemini summary cards” automatically “when a summary could be useful, as with longer messaging threads”. You can collapse the upper right corner card if it is not useful.
Google notes how “Gemini sums up all the key points of the e-mail thread and refreshes it when people answer”, so it’s always fresh. (Screenshot shows an alternative design for the Reply which is in the shape of a pill instead of a solid bar.)
This launch was detailed in the “Mayspace Drop function. “Google also underlined the availability of gemini summaries In Google Chat’s View at home and for documents. There is also the Google Docs summary construction block.
Google also summarizes Mental cards And Discover sources in Notebooklm. In Meet, Google highlights Dynamic provisionsas well as the appearance of the studio, lighting and sound.
