Glen Powell and his Twisters co-stars drink beers with Luke Combs at a concert

Tornadoes Stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos were able to relax during a surprise appearance at a Luke Combs concert this weekend.

The artists joined the country singer onstage during his show Friday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. As seen in images Shared on social media, Combs and the cast members each had a can of beer and participated in a brief drinking contest.

Powell and Combs can be seen rapidly drinking their beers and throwing the empty cans towards the crowd. Edgar-Jones did not appear to finish his and instead handed the half-finished drink to Powell, who finished it and also threw the can into the crowd.

“So this is what happened,” Edgar-Jones wrote of the footage of the singer’s appearance, sharing it on her Instagram Stories. She included an exploding head emoji and tagged Powell, Ramos and Combs. Ramos reposted her footage and added the caption, “The most legendary moment.”

Combs recorded the original song “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” for Tornadoeswhich was released earlier this year as the lead single from the Universal film’s soundtrack. On Friday, Combs posted a carousel of photos on Instagram of himself and others watching Tornadoes from the MetLife jumbotron.

“Movie night at @metlifestadium,” Combs captioned his post. “The whole crew and I got to see the new @twisters movie on the Jumbotron. Wow. What a night and what a movie.”

Director Lee Isaac Chung’s film hit theaters Friday and is off to a roaring start. A sequel to the 1996 film Tornado starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, Tornadoes is performing very well at the box office and is on track to achieve a domestic opening of $74.6 million.
