Brendan Rodgers set up a strong defense of Adam Idah after video sequences emerged from the Celtic striker seeming to be sick in a taxi.
Cullé on social networks, the clip would have been taken on Wednesday evening.
The Republic of Ireland International immediately contacted Rodgers on Thursday to explain the circumstances and received the support of the Celtic director.
Rodgers, who confirmed that Idah will be in his team for the semi-final of the Scottish Cup on Sunday against St Johnstone in Hampden, insisted that he is not concerned about 24-year-old professionalism.
Instead, Parkhead’s Boss has reprimanded against the difficulties encountered by players to take advantage of their time to stop in the era of smartphones and social media.

“I spoke to him again this morning. There is a sadness. He knows, and the group knows where I am in terms of concentration and mentality.
“But it was a day off. What is sad for me is that a 24 -year -old football player in his free time can somehow let his hair without someone trying to film it.
“This is the challenge now for people in general but especially if you are a young football player.
“I got the complete story of him. I have no doubt that he is a big young professional. He does everything to be the best possible player. He has a nutritionist outside the club, he does an additional work.
“So I have absolutely no doubt. It’s just a shame that these things come together and make it worse than what it is.
“I have not seen him but I heard that some of the guys will mention it. He must live with that. But I have no doubt about his mentality.
“He had an evening on Wednesday and we left on Thursday. We have a lot of time before the match on Sunday. So I’m with Adam on it.
Rodgers admitted that his message to players were wary of their environment when you benefit from a social life must be strengthened.

Idah has been struggling since the form has been in recent times and has failed to mark the 5-1 victory from last week over Kilmarnock to Celtic Park

“In modern society, especially young guys, they must be kept,” he added. “Unfortunately, this is the way of the world.
“People will sign an autograph or make a video, then a clown arrives and says something else in the video.
“Then people wonder why players will not make a video, why do they pass?” Well, because you tried to exhibit them. So why do they take the risk so, they just pass, they don’t care.
“Which is sad because children want things signed or anything else. But that’s where we are, we have to live with that.
“Everything that has been put there, people will have their own story in history, but I understand him. He was honest enough to call me yesterday, which was great, then we had a conversation this morning.
“He is fine, he trained very well and he will be ready for the weekend.”
