Kiper says:
It was a critical project for coach Brian Daboll and Managing Director Joe Schoen. The giants lost 14 games last season and have problems all over the list, including the most important position. They brought Russell Wilson to start the quarter-tree, but I don’t think it was a big upgrade on what they had a year ago. Could they find their passer of the future this weekend?
Giant fans should feel much better in the future of their favorite team. I liked what the team did Thursday evening, by obtaining the Rusher Edge Abdul Carter early, then exchanging to take QB Jaxson Dart. Carter is a special talent that has finished like my overall hope n ° 2. It could be an instant star, stimulating a rush to the pass which is already the strength of the list. And even if I ranked Shemer Sanders above than Dart, it is clear that Daboll and Schoen did not agree.
Dart, my perspective n ° 28, has a lot of potential, but I don’t think it will have a recruited season of Jayden Daniels. In fact, it seems that the giants want it to be required behind Wilson (and Jameis Winston) and lets it adapt to the speed of the NFL. If this is the case, Daboll and Schoen Bancs on having more time to work with him and see him play in 2026. For their good, I hope they are right. (They also dealt with a third round in 2026 in moving to obtain Dart.)
I also liked New York movements throughout the rest of the draft. He added Darius Alexander, a defensive tackle to do everything that adapts well next to Dexter Lawrence II, around 3. I expect him to have an impact as a recruit. The Ballon Cam Skattebo ball carrier can punish the defenses between the plated. Marcus Mbow is my favorite class of the class, and the Giants obtained almost two laps later than where I had him evaluated. Look – he will find shots in attack in 2025.
It is a beautiful class from top to bottom. I will not surpass too much with the preference of the front office for Dart on Sanders.

1 (3): Ed Abdul Carter, Penn State
Carter – The giants added enough to the quarter-Arrière in a free agency with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to give them the freedom to take one of the rare first-rate talents in this project. The 66 quarter of Carter ranked second in the FBS in his first season as a full-time rusher in 2024.
1 (25): Qb Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
DART – Dart has varying opinions on him, but the giants exchange to get their guy. Its data profiles as a quarter of a starting caliber after having graduated on the 89th centile in five of the stable measures of PFF, including the 94th centile on the first Downs. Aside from Ole Miss’s offensive problems, Dart was the best classified passer in the 2025 draft class and was very precise.
3 (65): DL Darius Alexander, Toledo
Alexander – It is a good value for the giants, while Alexander entered the draft as a player classified 49th on the Big Board PFF. The 90.1 PFF note from Alexander in 2024 ranked third among all the interior defenders of the class.
4 (105): RB Cameron Skattebo, Arizona State
Skattebo – Skattebo was RB3 and the player in total n ° 51 on the Big Board PFF, which makes it a choice of strong value for the giants at the top of the fourth round. He has no elite speed, but he excels in many areas that translate well to the NFL. Skattebo ranked above the 85th centile in PFF damage note in the deviation and zone regimes in 2024 and was the only one to run in addition to Ashton Jeanty to force more than 100 missed plated on the field last season.
5 (154): T Marcus Mbow, Purdue
Mbow – Mbow was player No. 84 on the Big Board PFF. He constantly ranked the 1970s in the PFF class in the last three seasons, with a record of 74.0 in career in 2024. His greatest strength was his race blocking, where he obtained a year of 78.7 last season. Mbow goes to the Giants, where he will seek to put pressure for an important role right away.
7 (219): Te Thomas Fidone II, Nebraska
Fidone – Fidone ranked like n ° 10 of the tight end of the Big Board PFF, which makes it a strong value of your choice n ° 219. The product of the Nebraska is one of the best tight ends of blocking of this class. He posted a note of 77.8 in this area last season and never recorded a pass blocking note in a single match below 67.4.
7 (246): CB Korie Black, Oklahoma State
Black – Black obtained a 74.0 coverage note in the zone coverage in 2024. He forced 13 incompletions and recorded five coverage stops.

For the better or for the worst, the ultimate decision of the NFL of the NFL of the New York NFL will be decided by the result of Jaxson Dart. If it becomes the QB franchise they believe that it can be, then this class is a success. If Dart ends up being a bust, it will be an irreconcilable task on a differently excellent transport.
The dart movement was aggressive, and somewhat supported by despair for Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll, but at the very least, Dart has athletics, tenacity and the elastic arm to become a quality starter in time. And credit where the credit is due: the rest of the project was stellar for New York. Abdul Carter is a first -rate player, Darius Alexander and Marcus Mbow can be entries in the trenches. Cam Skattebo is an excellent RB to add to the stable, Thomas Fidone is a quality Te2, and Korie Black is a good depth.
Dart’s development will do or break this group to a certain extent, but players like Carter also have the potential to have a positive impact on the franchise in a positive way beyond any QB transition. The talent of the giants has improved considerably, but it is the QB joker that will shape the fate of the whole regime.

The managing director Joe Schoen had an urgent need for a home project, and he went to the Aaron judge on weekends. Carter can be a Rusher All-Pro Edge in a short time, and although Dart has a certain risk due to the Gimmicky offense in which he operated at university, which is why Brian Daboll is the head coach.
Alexander is a dynamic piece of chess alongside Dexter Lawrence with serious power and athletic gifts, and I love the complementary tandem of Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Cam Skattebo in the rear field.
Mbow can be a goalkeeper based on mobility – or a right tackle in a pinch – and Fidone is an imposing tight end and receiver that will push Theo Johnson. Finally, Korie Black, the fast and fiery corner half of Oklahoma around 7 was huge. He will be a playmaker on this defense.

They might have gotten the draft’s best player in olb Abdul Carter, who could be a reasonable facsimile of fellow Penn Stater Micah Parsons… Even If Carter Desn’t Understand He’s not Worthy of Wearing Goat Olb Lawrence Taylor’s No. 56. But to get the First Round for Qb Jaxson Dart, Essentially at the cost of Two Third-Rounders and with no Reason to Play Him Prematurely with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston Round, could be the movement that really recovers this franchise on the right track … while keeping HC Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen in their messages. All this apart, good chance that the Bulldozer RB Cam Skattebo ends as the favorite choice of hungry fans of Big Blue.

I obtained the first -rate rusher Abdul Carter (3) and exchanged in the first round to hang the QB Jaxson Dart (25) one round early. DL Darius Alexander (65), RB Cam Skattebo (105) and OT Marcus Mbow (154) were of great value in 3-4-5 rounds. Te Thomas Fidone II (219) is a seventh round with potential to be a playmaker.

You cannot beat the picking no doubt the best draft player at No. 3, then exchange two third turners to return to the first round for the future QB sorted on the side of coach Brian Daboll. Alexander could be a starter of the week 1. Skattebo is the complement of perfect power to Tyrone Tracy Jr.

After a miserable 2024, the giants could soon be directed in the right direction after having delivered an impressive draft class featuring many talents and filled needs. Carter, who made comparisons with Micah Parsons and Von Miller, could be a future game convenience store next to Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence II. Dart is not a hopeless QB hope, but he will now work with coach Brian Daboll, who has no interest in rushing his development after announcing Russell Wilson as a starter. And let’s not neglect the selection of skattebo, a tall ball carrier who can also make games in the back field.
