From Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, the creators of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2come Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmarea new entry into the Twisted Childhood universe. In the terrifying new film written and directed by Scott Chambers, Peter Pan is not a childhood hero, but rather a monster who kidnaps children. Ahead of the film’s upcoming limited theatrical release, we have an exclusive sneak peek of Hook from the film, which is just a little different than what you saw growing up.
The latest entry into the Poohniverse follows Wendy Darling as she attempts to save her brother Michael from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan who intends to send him to Neverland. Along the way, she meets a twisted Tinkerbell, addicted to what she thinks is fairy dust.
So how exactly does the fearsome Captain Hook play into all of this? Director Scott Chambers exclusively told Dread Central: “Hook was knocked on his head. Now residing in a cell where he has a bucket in which he defecates, living in a world of torment and hell under the power of Peter Pan. Will Hook ever make it to Neverland?“
Henry Whitfield, also known as drag character Charity Kase, portrays the twisted new version of Hook. Previously, Charity Kase appeared on season 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. With an obvious love for horror shining through in his look alone, it seems like they’ve found the perfect person to play the iconic character.
Whitfield stars in Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare alongside Megan Placito (The salt path) as Wendy Darling, Martin Portlock (TV shows Britain’s Got Talent) as Peter Pan, Kit
Green (The Dogma of the Dragon 2) in the role of Tinker Bell, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (That of the Pope
Exorcist) like Michael, and Kierston Wareing (Aquarium) as Roxy, with Nicholas Woodeson (Skyfall) like Steven.
Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) produced the film, with Stuart Alson (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) and Nicole Holland (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2) as executive producers. The film is a Jagged Edge production with ITN Studios and Premiere Entertainment handling sales.
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare hits theaters for just three days, from January 13, 2025 to January 15, 2025, only from Iconic Events Releasing.
