Georgian policeman “criticizes” after shooting;  another officer among 7 others affected: reports


At least eight people, including two police officers, were injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Clayton County, Ga., According to reports.

One of the officers was in critical condition, while the other suffered non-life threatening injuries, FOX 5 from Atlanta reported.

Officers had been called to the area after 9 p.m. for a reason that was not immediately clear, according to the report.

Police called the shooting “serious” but provided few initial details.

Dozens of police were seen gathering outside Grady Memorial Hospital after the shooting, Atlanta-based WSB-TV reported, adding that there was no immediate information about the other injured or possible suspects.
