‘Gen V’ & ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’ Star Dead at 27

Chance Perdomo, who starred in The boys spin off Generation V And Chilling Adventures of Sabrinadied in a tragic motorcycle accident at the age of 27.

A statement confirming the news was released by Perdomo’s publicist to several media outlets, including Variety.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the untimely passing of Chance Perdomo following a motorcycle accident,” the statement read. “Authorities say no other people were involved.”

The statement added: “His passion for the arts and his insatiable appetite for life were felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will continue among those he loved most. We ask that you respect the family’s wish for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved son and brother.

The release does not confirm where the accident took place and Variety says the Los Angeles Police Department was unable to confirm whether Perdomo’s death occurred in Los Angeles.

Perdomo was known for his role as Andre Anderson in the Prime Video series. Generation V as well as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix film Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

“We can’t really understand this. To those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always charming and cheerful, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer and, more than anything else, a very kind and lovely person.” declared the producers of Generation V in a joint statement. “Even writing about him in the past tense makes no sense. We are truly sorry to Chance’s family and mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.

Production on season 2 of the series was delayed indefinitely following the tragedy.

Perdomo was born in Los Angeles in 1996, but soon after moved with his mother to Southampton, in the English county of Hampshire. There he attended Redbridge Community School before going to Peter Symonds College in Winchester. Perdomo initially wanted to study law, but instead moved to London to pursue acting studies, joining the National Youth Theater and training at the Identity School of Acting.

In addition to the titles mentioned above, Perdomo has appeared in several television shows, short films, and a 2018 TV movie titled Killed by my debtwhich earned him a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

Perdomo also portrayed Landon Gibson in the films After our fall (2021), After always happy (2022), and After all (2023), all three starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin.
