Earlier this week, the United Nations World Food Program warned that 470,000 Gazans “faced catastrophic hunger” due to Israel’s action to close aid flows since March 2. He said that more than 116,000 metrics of food aid were blocked.
Israel did not immediately respond to the declaration of the leaders, but previously argued that he needed new tracks to channel food aid to the Gazans without the risk that he will be seized and sold by Hamas activists.

In Friday’s declaration, the seven European leaders – Kristrún Frostadóttir of Iceland, Micheál Martin of Ireland, Luc Frieden of Luxembourg, Robert Abela de Malta, Jonas Gahr Støre of Norway Gaza.
They cited “the increase in the violence of the settlers, the expansion of the illegal colonies and intensified Israeli military operations”.
“The forced displacement or the expulsion of the Palestinian people, by all means, is unacceptable and would constitute a violation of international law,” said leaders. “We reject such plans or attempts to change demographic. We must assume the responsibility to stop this devastation. ”
Last year, Ireland, Norway and Spain unilaterally decided to recognize the Palestinian state. Israel responded, in part, by closing his embassy to Dublin and by expelling Norwegian diplomats.
