Gary Lineker revealed that he did not intend to return to the world of meetings once he left the match of the day at the end of the season.
Lineker, 64, is expected to leave the BBC flagship show this summer, and will soon be on Saturday for the first time in decades.
But he is categorical, he will not spend his free time trying to start a new relationship, after being divorced twice.
Speaking about the rest of the football podcast, Micah Richards teased Lineker about “making you a partner”, but the idea was quickly stopped.
“I am so happy by myself,” insisted Lineker. “I have a lot of friends I go out and dinner and have fun. I’m fine, Micah, honestly.
“I have been married most of my adult life and I am completely settled in my ways and comfortable for me now.

Lineker made the knot with the model and actress Michelle Cockayne in 1986 and have four sons together.
Cockayne asked for divorce in 2006, quoting the alleged “unreasonable behavior” of Lineker. Cockayne and Lineker later said that their split was friendly.
Lineker then married the Welsh actress and model Danielle Bux during a ceremony in Italy in 2009.
Lineker and Bux announced that they were separating in January 2016 due to the first to no longer want children.
The couple remain in friendly terms and enjoyed a comfortable wine evening with the son of Lineker, Harry, earlier this week.
The host of the match of the day has not been involved in a long -term relationship since its separation from Bux, and it does not expect it to change anytime soon.
