The May 2024 security update is rolling out to two more Galaxy smartphones this week. Samsung has released the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy S23 FE in select markets.
Galaxy S23 FE update rolling out in India while Z Fold 4 receives update in select Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern countries – updates sport build numbers S711BXXS3CXE3 And F936BXXS7FXE6 respectively. Both devices will likely receive the update in many more markets by the end of this month.

Given that these phones received the One UI 6.1 update not too long ago, it’s no surprise that Samsung has only integrated security improvements with the new update. The May 2024 security patch fixes several critical and non-critical vulnerabilities in the Android operating system and Samsung One UI – more details are available here for those interested in the details.
Downloading the latest security update on the S23 FE or Z Fold 4 is as easy as opening the phone’s Settings app, navigating to the Settings app. Software update menu and selecting Download and install. Firmware files for both devices are also available in our Firmware Library and can be used as an alternative method to install new software.
