Galaxy S25 and Ultra sport blue hues and MagSafe-inspired cases in new leak

What you need to know

  • The Galaxy S25 could launch in an “icy blue”, while the Ultra could sport a “titanium blue” shade.
  • Samsung’s website may have even more color choices, but expect regional variations.
  • The leaked images also show a MagSafe-style ring, hinting that wireless charging might require accessories like the Spigen case.

As the launch of the Galaxy S25 series approaches, the leaks are increasing and the latest one reveals new details on the pricing and color options for the vanilla and Ultra models.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to arrive in up to seven colors, including blue. A recent report from Gizmochina shows the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra fitting snugly in Spigen’s Crystal Flex cases. The images highlight their blue versions, each sporting slightly different shades.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 will launch in an “Icy Blue” shade with an icy touch. For the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the leak indicates a “Titanium Blue” color, a slightly muted but elegant shade.

These details match a separate leak from Ishan Agarwal, which revealed color options such as “Silver Shadow”, “Mint”, “Icy Blue”, and “Navy” for the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be available in “Titanium Black”, “Titanium Grey”, “Titanium White Silver” and “Titanium Silver Blue”, according to Agarwal’s X post.

You’ll likely find even more color choices on Samsung’s website, but expect some regional differences.

This new leak also confirms earlier reports that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature rounded corners and ultra-thin bezels. Please keep in mind that these images are renderings and may not reflect the final design.

Images of the case also highlight a MagSafe-style ring on the back of both devices, giving off the iPhone vibe. There are rumors that the Galaxy S25 series might not natively support Qi2 wireless charging, but instead you’ll need accessories like the Spigen case to make it work. This approach seems to follow the lead of other major Android phones.

There are also rumors that the Galaxy S25 series will see a big improvement in wireless charging speeds, from 15W to 25W. This could make charging faster and more efficient for users.

Fortunately, the wait for official word from Samsung won’t be very long: Samsung is expected to unveil its 2025 flagship devices on January 22. All models are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
