Galaxy S24 FE launch schedule revealed by new report

Now that more than six months have passed since the launch of the Galaxy S24, it is likely that Samsung will soon bring its FE version. In fact, the design and specifications of the Galaxy S24 FE were leaked a few days ago. Now, its launch schedule has been revealed.

Galaxy S24 FE launch to take place in October

According to a report by ETNews, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S24 FE in October 2024 and the Galaxy A16 in December 2024. This timeline matches that of the Galaxy S23 FE, which launched on October 4 last year. However, the Galaxy S23 FE only arrived in Europe in early 2024, and it remains to be seen whether the S24 FE will also get a phased release.

The Galaxy S24 FE is said to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor and a triple camera setup at the back. It will be powered by a 4,565mAh battery, 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.

The most notable improvements in the Galaxy S24 FE are the 6.7-inch display and the Exynos 2400 chipset. The Exynos 2400 is a huge step up from the Exynos 2200 chip in the Galaxy S23 FE. The new chip is much more power-efficient and more powerful than the old one.

It likely features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, Samsung DeX, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Samsung Pay, and a USB Type-C port.
