Samsung is launching the Fan Edition or FE variant of its Galaxy S flagship later this year and with that time fast approaching, news and rumors about the Galaxy S24 FE are now returning with renewed vigor.
The latest release shows us the expected color options that Samsung will offer to customers who purchase the Galaxy S24 FE. Can you guess what will be the main color option that Samsung will favor for this phone?
The Galaxy S24 FE is back in black
It’s black. No surprise there. Black tends to be the most sought-after color for phones, so it’s no surprise that Samsung is making the bulk of the Galaxy S24 FE units in black. Other color options for the new device, as revealed by DSCC’s Ross Yong, include gray, light blue, light green, and yellow.
We already got a glimpse of the light green color in leaked renders of the Galaxy S24 FE that surfaced last month. It revealed thinner bezels compared to its predecessor in addition to a larger display that is expected to measure 6.65-inches.
Don’t count on a Snapdragon chipset for this device, though. Previous reports have suggested that the Galaxy S24 FE would be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, the same chipset Samsung used for some variants of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ this year.
The phone will come with 12GB of RAM, run Android 14 out of the box, and feature a 50MP primary sensor along with a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8/10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
It’s not yet clear when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S24 FE, but we’ll likely see it arrive either late this year or early next year.
