FX has set a first date for AdultsHis new comedy of The Tonight Show Scribes Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw.
The series of sets, which was once entitled Snowflakes, First on May 28 with two episodes. He follows five friends – Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amicita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele) – who crash together in Samir’s childhood house. FX says: “The show puts a slightly increased touch to victories, losses and start -up humiliations in the adult world. Whether they are trying to get ahead of work, navigate the health system, organize a dinner or go out in the era to find my friends, the group is to note that nothing in the real world is simple, and all their best intentions tend to worsen things. ”
Charlie Cox, Julia Fox, by Arcy Carden, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, John Reynolds and Ray Nicholson will be invited in the first season.
“We are very grateful to tell this story about a group of friends navigating the most difficult and excited period of life together,” said Kronengold and Shaw in a joint statement last year after the removal of the show. “The FX comedies have defined our generation, and we can’t wait to show them the consequences.”
The whole season of eight episodes will be available on May 29 on Hulu and FX on demand. FX will have continued to broadcast two episodes every Wednesday for the following three weeks.
Adults is executive produced by Kronengold and Shaw, with Nick Kroll (Large mouth, the league), Stefani Robinson (Atlanta, what we do in the shade), Sarah Naftalis (What we do in the shade) and Jonathan Krisel (Baskets, English teacher). Alicia Van Courrming (Tiny furniture,, Drink) also serves as an executive producer under the Kroll Good To Business banner.
