Furiosa: from the Mad Max saga was a critical success, and while that’s not entirely true in our ranking of the films in the saga, many fans think it even surpasses Fury Road. However, it did not perform well at the box office and this completely jeopardized the future of the franchise.
Either way, George Miller won’t stop until he gets the most out of Furiosa, and the next thing he’s gearing up to direct is a black and white version of the film. As the Josh Horowitz podcast confirms, “That’s the last thing I did on this film and I call it a black and chrome tint.”
