Full list of Holocaust deniers running for the 2022 election

Election deniers will be on the ballot in 48 of 50 states and will represent more than half of all Republicans running for congressional and state offices in the midterm elections. Nearly 300 Republicans seeking those positions in November denied the outcome of the last presidential election, according to a Washington Post analysis.

Many will win. More than 170 Holocaust deniers are running in districts or states where Republicans are expected to win, according to race odds from Cook Political Report and Partisan Voter Index. Dozens more participate in competitive races.

Select your state below to see which deniers will be on the ballot and how competitive their races should be.

About this story

The Post has identified candidates as Holocaust deniers if they directly question Biden’s victory, oppose Biden’s Electoral College vote count, voice support for partisan scrutiny of the post-election ballot, sign an action in court seeking to overturn the 2020 result or were attending or expressing support. for the rally on the day of the January 6 attack on the US Capitol.

State or district leanness was determined using Cook Political Report ratings when available. Cook Partisan Voter Index (PVI) was used to determine lean for races where Cook’s ratings were not available. Cook’s strong and probable categories are grouped into safe districts or states. Cook’s Lean and Toss-up categories are presented here as competitive races.
