After winning its first medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, India will have an opportunity to win at least two more on the third day of the Summer Games on Monday. India won its first medal on Sunday thanks to Manu Bhaker, who won a historic bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol. Manu Bhaker is the first Indian shooter to win a medal at the Olympics.
On Monday, Ramita Jinal will have the chance to become the second woman to win a medal in shooting when she competes in the 10m air rifle final. Arjun Babuta can become the first man to win a medal at the Paris Olympics if he manages to reach the podium in the 10m air rifle final.

Manu Bhaker will also be in action as she will compete in the 10m air pistol mixed team qualification, along with Sarabjot Singh. Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema will be the second Indian pair to compete in the event.
The Indian men’s archery team will also be in action as they have qualified directly for the quarter-finals thanks to an impressive performance in the ranking round.
