FTC asks Amazon and Walmart for information on supply chain issues

The Federal Trade Commission is seeking information from Amazon.com Inc., Procter & Gamble Co., Walmart Inc. and others on how they handle supply chain grunts, as part of ‘a study to determine whether the problems led to anti-competitive behavior and over pricing.

The document request is not part of any law enforcement action, the FTC said in a press release. Instead, the agency said it was seeking to understand the reasons for the widespread supply chain problems that have crippled economic growth.
