Frontier Airlines passenger refuses to comply with instructions in exit row, resulting in plane being disembarked

A Frontier Airlines passenger refused to comply with instructions from a cabin crew member in the exit row, forcing everyone on board the flight.

In a viral TikTok posted on May 9, travel blogger Tia (@travelwithtia23) shared with viewers how an unidentified woman wearing glasses got into an argument with airline employees. Meanwhile, her fellow travelers begged her to get off the plane for their common good.

“This lady right here, when she first got on the plane and recognized the exit line, she said, ‘Oh, I’m not going to save anyone.’ If something happens, I’m going to run away,” Tia explained. “That was her attitude throughout the whole placement process. And I already knew something was going to happen when she had that attitude.

The video shows the woman arguing with a flight attendant, gesturing to another flight attendant: “Yeah, she’s talking to me, what’s the problem?”

“Because she won’t tell us her name?” she interrupted the airline employee as she placed her drink on the floor of the plane. The flight attendant tried to finish her sentence: “If that’s going to be a problem…”

‘A problem? What’s the problem?’ the woman interrupted as the flight attendant continued to try to relay the exit instructions required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). “We understand that we have to help people. to get off the plane and help Betty White if something happens.

“What’s the problem? We agreed,” she repeated as the passengers started laughing in the background and the flight attendant walked away. “You’re wasting your breath. Will they get this plane off the ground?

The woman then placed her phone on the passenger on the ground and ate a snack before turning to the other flight attendant and saying, “Get out, my damn face.” »

“Did you ask him to accept?” You’re not doing your job,” she continued as the flight attendant put her hands in front of the passenger’s face. The passenger stepped back and opened her snack. “You better get out of my face, right? is what you should do, Betty.”

After exchanging a few more words, the flight attendant walked away, but as she began to eat her snack, another employee came up to her to hand her a piece of paper. Immediately, the passenger became angry and the employee tried to demean her. The employee said, “They said you weren’t listening…”

The woman tried to plead her case, saying people saw her accepting instructions, but the airline employee waved her off to another flight attendant.

“We all agreed. Everyone can witness it,” says the woman who flew to care for her 4-year-old grandson while his mother was on vacation. “And my grandson is getting off school, and his mom got on a flight to Mexico, and I’m not getting off that plane.”

The captain then got involved by announcing to the passengers: “Ladies and gentlemen, we will soon be on our way, this problem must be resolved. The police will arrive.

She was eventually escorted off the plane by police officers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina, but unfortunately all passengers had to get off with her.

The unidentified woman defied the FAA’s requirement that passengers seated in an exit row not only read instructions but also verbally confirm that they will perform the physical tasks of helping others in an emergency .
