Teej A

Tipped Teej One last time at Chester and she won impressively by two lengths.

It was appealed massively that day due to its value having shown great promise from its inception.

Her form in her first race seemed to work well and she made so much progress during the run-in that it seemed like she figured things out too late.

That wasn’t the case last time and she came home on a similar course to Epsom with its sharp track, so that must be a big fantasy this weekend.

Emily Upjohn

She comes into this having placed quite well in defeat behind Rebel’s Romance at Meydan, but notably her four-year run where she placed behind Paddington and beat Westover should be enough to see her do well here.

We know she also does well on this track after winning the Coronation Cup last year, and of course when she narrowly placed second before Tuesday at the 2022 Oaks.

Bolster

Another great each-way game at Epsom with Bolster, although also worth siding with a back-to-back win.

Trained by Karl Burke under the colors of Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum who is having a great season with many winners already.

Bolster returned from his winter after leaving Simon and Ed Crisford, with a huge victory at Pontefract while carrying the top weight while winning with plenty in hand.

Pierre-Louis Jamin retains the riding and an increase of 5 pounds for this victory will probably not be enough to stop him in this field, the horse clearly benefiting at the age of four and for a new yard.

Ylang ylang

9/4 before The Oaks eve seems a pretty high price for Ylang Ylang.

But many punters might be put off by the fact that she has so far only been seen over a yard away and could only place fifth in the 1000 Guineas.

But it’s a usual course in this kind of Classic and to finish a length from fifth place is a good sign, because we expect this filly to be something special next.

It’s always hard to ignore an Aidan O’Brien-trained favorite, with Ryan Moore on board, who is from Frankel and has all the makings of a big winner.

At a price of 9/4, this is a must for value, but can also be paired with a return bet on Rubies Are Red, who returned home to Chester in the Oaks Trial but was refused by the leader You Got To. Me who did everything.

I don’t know what

Nice filly who has had a busy campaign for two years but she should be able to do better after moving to Grant Tuer before entering the listed company at Newmarket in November.

She was far in this race but seems better suited to 5f than 6f.

She finished ninth of 22 at York in a Class 2, but looks to be better than a Class 4 horse and could finally take a step up the rankings in her first race at the age of three.
