Cecilie Bahnsen’s wife contains multitudes. “Her wardrobe is not dictated by trends but by the feeling of the way a piece moves, how she integrates into her life and how she is part of her story,” explains Cecilie Bahnsen, designer and founder of the beloved studio in Copenhagen.
Since its launch in 2015, the eponymous brand of Bahnsen has perfected on a coveted mixture of romance and crafts which has earned its fans the whole world. Collection After Collection, she always delivers female pillars such as declaration sleeves and sparkling dresses which are somehow used as everyday outfit. This membership in his singular vision made Bahnsen a fashionable independent force and captured the hearts of emotional buyers everywhere.
During the Fall / Winter 2025 parade of the brand on March 5, the faithful of Cecilie Bahnsen dressed the room, parading through the Palais de Tokyo in delicate flowers with functional motorcycle boots, worn flowering under dresses and high throats. Two Gotta-Have-IT collaborates with North Face and Asics, which Cecilie Bahnsen launched last year, hit the streets of Paris in the form of closed-stop-up red sneakers and Jacquard Peplum jackets.
“There is a shared appreciation for timelessness, femininity and individuality,” explains Bahnsen of his customers. “People who wear my pieces see clothes as something more than working – they connect with the emotional and tactile elements of a garment.”
Everything she touches integrates this earth-to-terre fantasy, including the new collection of the brand. The fall of 2025 marks an increased accent on separations and outdoor clothes for Bahnsen, which found an improbable source of inspiration in the classic runner’s vest. “He redefines familiar codes in a way that feels both timeless and unexpected,” she said about the collection, citing dresses with integrated vest toppers and luxury outdoor clothes.
Transforming the vest of an silly runner into an essential fashion mode is not an easy feat, but Bahnsen is up to the challenge.
