The French student Sara Leghtas was pleasantly surprised by her first purchase on Taobao, a name of electronic trade in China that she has just discovered at the end of last month.
“Like many others, I discovered Taobao on Tiktok,” said the 19 -year -old player. “There are tons of videos where people show luxury handbags looking for luxury they bought at very low prices.”
The price was indeed very low for it: 35 € (US $ 40) in total – the bag itself was only 10 €, while shipping and manipulation cost 25 €.
He arrived from China to his door near the French city of Dijon in less than a week.
“Given the quality of the bag and the speed with which it was delivered, I think it is really worth it,” said Leghtas.
In the midst of increased trade tensions between Beijing and Washington, many accounts on Tiktok have shown users how to buy cheap products directly in Chinese factories to avoid brands and pricing rates.
