The Ultimate RV Show sets up camp at the Colorado Convention Center (700 14th St.) January 8-11. Entrance is free. The exhibit highlights many RV ideas and products to maximize leisure, vacation and retirement time. Check out all the new 2025 campervans, from campervans to campervans to large campervans and more. Discover fully featured new and used motorhomes, all at special prices reserved for the show. There will be new product launches, free display bags, a kids zone, giveaways and VR experts. Free MLK concert

The Colorado Symphony honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual tribute concert on January 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Boettcher Concert Hall (1000 14th St.) in Denver. Entrance is free. The evening will feature performances from special guests and recipients of the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award. The show promises to strike the right note with a moving and celebratory program highlighting the works of various composers. Tickets are required for entry, which are now available online. The National Western Stock Show gallops into the National Western Complex (4655 Humboldt St.) January 11-26. Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages can saddle up for free park admission day on January 14 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. does not include paid events. Families are sure to see big savings, as the regular price on Tuesday is $27 for adults and $7 for children. A family of four (two adults and two children) will save $68. Parking at the Stock Show is free, but spaces are limited. Consider parking at Coors Field in paved, well-lit lots dedicated to Stock Show attendees. Free Days at the Denver Zoo

Go wild for free with family and friends at the Denver Zoo in 2025. The zoo gives back to the community with free admission on January 10, January 26, February 9, April 6, November 7 and November 15. and November 23. Complimentary tickets are not available at the door, but only online on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available 11 days before each scheduled free day. Get up to five tickets per person. All visitors must have a timed ticket for entry, including children two and under. Tickets are valid only for the specific entry date and time reserved. Denver Boat Show

Come to the Denver Boat Show at the Colorado Convention Center (700 14th St.) in Denver January 17-19. The show focuses on the relative affordability of boating for families who love the outdoors. You’ll find prices listed on pontoon boats, ski boats, wakeboard boats, fishing boats, sailboats, personal watercraft, kayaks, cruisers and accessories. Check out Bargain Alley with closing prices on non-current and demo boats. Admission is $16.50 for adults and free for children 16 and under. However, enjoy waves of savings on January 17 when adult tickets go free. (Military personnel with ID enter free daily.) Buntport Theater Name your price

“JANE/EYRE,” a queer adaptation of the classic novel, with original music by Teacup Gorilla and Dameon Merkl, is the latest original show from Grapefruit Lab. The show opens January 17 at the Buntport Theater (717 Lipan St.) in Denver and runs for three weekends with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, there is a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. on January 26. the production accessible to all theater lovers, whatever their financial capacity, all tickets are at a fixed price. National Park Service Free Days

Whether frequent travelers or greens, outdoor enthusiasts will be able to admire Colorado’s natural beauty for free in 2025. For starters, to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the U.S. National Park Service waives entrance fees for all its parks, monuments and other sites on January 20. The free day does not include amenities or user fees for activities, such as camping. It’s an opportunity to snowshoe, cross-country ski, or simply enjoy the frosty landscape of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park on a budget.
