LOS Angeles – The first goal player of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Freddie Freeman, was out of the alignment Monday evening against the brave of Atlanta after slipping into the shower and injured the right ankle repaired surgically.
“He had some impact in the shower,” said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. “A little swollen a little.”
The World Series 2024 MVP was injured at home last weekend and came to the stadium on Sunday of the day off for treatment.
Before the accident, Roberts said that Freeman’s ankle “was not 100% but always, obviously the way he swung the bat, in a good place.”
Freeman is 3 for 12 with two circuits and four products produced to start the season. It was scratched from the opening game of the Dodgers in Tokyo due to the discomfort of the left coast.
“He feels that he could go there and play, but it is enough to recover it today and we will see how he is tomorrow,” said Roberts. “For the most part, he always kicked and cries (play).”
Freeman walked his right ankle during a game at the first goal at the end of September and had trouble during the first two rounds of the playoffs, but it was barely obvious during the World Series. He dominated the first four games and had 12 points produced while the Dodgers beat New York Yankees in five games.
Freeman suffered debridement surgery in December to eliminate cowardly bodies from ankle.
The Dodgers took a 5-0 record in their first series of series against the former Freeman team, The Braves.
Freeman strikes. 299 with a .939 OPS in 20 games against Atlanta, where he spent his first 12 years in the big leagues. He has 4 circuits, 12 products produced, 4 doubles, a triple and 13 walks in these matches.
