Freddie Freeman came out of the Los Angeles Dodgers programming on Monday after undergoing an ankle injury in what the team described as a “accident”.
After missing Monday’s match, Freeman will no longer be aligned on Tuesday, although he told journalists that he hoped to be ready to play the final of the series of Wednesday against the Braves of Atlanta.
Freeman also proposed an explanation on how he managed to hurt his ankle in the shower, informing journalists that because of a leak in the main shower at home, he had to use the shower of the guest room. When he tried to enter the configuration of the bathtub / shower, he slipped and fell, refining his ankle in the process, by Fabian Ardaya de Athletics.
Freeman had undergone an off -season surgical intervention on this same ankle after the title of the World Series of the team, it therefore goes without saying that the Dodgers made a prudence error. Freeman’s ankle radiographs were negative, and Ardaya reports that the first veteran player received up to three hours of treatment on Tuesday while working to take action.
If Freeman is unable to play on Wednesday, the next chance to take the ground will be Friday when the dodgers face the Philadelphia phillies in Citizens Bank Park.
