First news from the team
French coach Didier Deschamps has a complete team and should recall Antoine Griezmann in his starting XI, with Adrian Rabiot or Bradley Barcola likely to give up their place. Ousmane Dembélé could also be out after failing to impress in the group stages and should he drop to the bench, Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram is likely to get the nod.
Axel Witsel and Thomas Meunier are both injured. Belgian winger Dodi Lukebakio is available after missing the 0-0 draw against Ukraine due to suspension. He or Yannick Carrasco could replace Leandro Trossard, who did not contribute much to the national cause during this draw. Aside from Kevin De Bruyne, few Belgian players impressed in this match, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see some changes.
