On Saturday, the second round of releases under the first stage of the hostage deal is expected after Hamas released Emily Damari, 28, Romi Gonen, 23, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31, on Sunday.
Seven women remain on the list of 30 hostages expected to be released from Hamas captivity in the first phase of the hostage deal.
The hostages on the list are expected to be released in exchange for security prisoners, humanitarian aid and an IDF withdrawal from certain areas of Gaza.
Release scheduled for Saturday
On Monday, Hamas said the second release of the hostages would take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, as planned, hours after saying it would be postponed until Saturday.
