“Found” canceled in NBC after two seasons, Variety confirmed.
The dramatic series initially made its debut on NBC in 2023. Shanola Hampton runs the casting, which also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi.
The official description of the series stipulates:
“During a given year, more than 600,000 people will have disappeared in the United States, more than half of this number are people of color that the country seems to forget. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely (Hampton), who was once one of these disappeared. (Gosselaar).
Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn serve as executive producers. Hampton is a producer of the series in addition to playing. “Found” is produced by Berlanti Productions and Rock My Soul Productions in association with Warner Bros. television. and universal television.
