Fortnite returns to the US App Store after a five -year gap

The popular game of Battle Royale Fortnite finally returned to the American App Store in the middle of the long legal skirmish of the Epic Games game manufacturer with Apple.

Tuesday, Fortnite is also available on the Epic Games Store and Altstore in the EU. He will soon appear in research on the App Store, said Epic in an article on X.

Apple deleted Fortnite from the App Store in 2020 after Epic added an option for people to make purchases at stake using EPIC virtual currency, for which the company offered a 20%discount. Epic then went to the offensive and continued Apple.

A judge ruled in favor of Epic, noting that Apple was in “voluntary violation” of the rules which have an anti -competitive price. Last month, this judge said that Apple was to allow developers to collect payments outside the App Store and not pay them costs.

Following the decision, epic subject to Fortnite to the App Store – but faced an approval period. The company accused Apple of blocking the game by coming to life in the United States and EU.

Earlier this week, American district judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers said in a file that Apple should approve the submission of Epic or show that it had a legal basis to block it. It may have tilted things in favor of Epic.

The new version of Fortnite available on the App Store also offers a 20% cashback to buy items involved directly from EPIC instead of using the purchase method in Apple application.
