UPDATE: Fortnite developer, Epic Games, warned fans of the Matchmaking problems when they try to join the death star event.

According to the Fortnite developer, fans who know matchmaking errors should try to join the event by entering another game mode.

“We know that some players can see matchmaking errors when you try to go into the sabotage fight for the star of the first dead and actively investigate,” reads an epic tweet.

“In the meantime, the seizure of another game mode and the return to the death star can help solve this problem.”

Epic Games previewed the event with the release of a special trailer for the death star during the presentation of the Fest Summer Game on June 6.

In the race to the end of the season event, fans can jump into the star destroyer and decimate the opposition from above.

As the players have noticed, a Rift door will appear at the start of the Zero Build and Battle Royale matches. If you are fast, you can enter the ditch and transport it to Star Destroyer, where you can use its powerful lasers.

The sabotage of the death star will end the season (but probably not before Sunday morning). This means that you only have a few hours left to unlock all the battle pass awards.

Based on recent leaks, the next Fortnite season will have a superhero theme. Epic Games has not yet officially announced downtime and dates, but expect the season to start the morning of June 8.
