Former Ravens running back JK Dobbins is expected to join the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old spent four years in Baltimore and will now play under former Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman, who recently joined Los Angeles in the same role.

Dobbins suffered a season-ending Achilles tear in the 2023 season opener against the Houston Texans, managing just eight carries for 22 yards before his campaign was cut short.

Injuries also hit the running back earlier in his NFL career seasons. Dobbins had 805 rushing yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2020.

But then he tore an ACL in an exhibition game in 2021, forcing him to miss the entire season.

Dobbins returned to action in 2022 but was hampered by another knee injury that limited him to eight games. He only passed for 520 yards and two touchdowns that year.

The Ravens selected Dobbins in the second round of the 2020 draft (55th overall) out of Ohio State.

Earlier this month, the free agent running back was in Kansas City visiting the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

He also flew west to visit the Chargers, who recently lost Austin Ekeler to the Washington Commanders in free agency and brought in Gus Edwards from Baltimore.
