The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed in a statement to NBC News that a “missing person’s report has been completed for Natalie DiDonato.”
But a department spokesperson declined to reveal more details about the ongoing search.
DiDonato was planning to be in Philadelphia recently before the family learned she was in Las Vegas, her sister Janae DiDonato said.
“I found out she was in Philadelphia. She was supposed to go from Philadelphia to Florida, back home. She didn’t take that flight,” the sister told NBC News, adding that police had found recordings of DiDonato staying at a Las. Vegas hotel late last week.
“And then we found out she was in Vegas. We didn’t believe it was true because we didn’t know anyone who knew she would be in Vegas. We didn’t know she knew anyone in Vegas .”
DiDonato, a cousin of murdered gangster Frank “Frankie Flowers” D’Alfonso, appeared on Season 5 of “Mob Wives,” which aired on VH1 from 2011 to 2016.
She was often referred to as “Nat D” on the show, perhaps to differentiate herself from another figure on the show, Natalie Guercio. Guercio told her fans on Instagram that she was not the missing person.
DiDonato posted on Instagram five weeks ago that she was happy to be 44 and that she had recently lost 10 pounds.
“Getting old is a blessing, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far,” she wrote. “I accept my age because for me it is an honor to have reached 44.”
